The Confederate heroes of Randolph County were honored with the inscription C.S.A. 1861–1865, the phrase “Lest we forget,” and a roster of Randolph's companies: D, I, and L of the 22nd Regiment Infantry; H of the 38th Regiment Infantry; F and G of the 36th Regiment Infantry; B of the 52nd Regiment Infantry; F of the 70th Regiment Infantry; and F of the 2nd Battalion.
