The Platteville Armory was dedicated by the City of Platteville to the heroic soldier-sons who serve their country in the Wisconsin National Guard and the Army of the United States. It was erected by the citizens of Platteville in honor of Company E, 107th Ammunition Train, 32nd Division, Wisconsin National Guard, in 1917; Company M, 128th Infantry, 32nd Division, Wisconsin National Guard, in 1940; and Company E, 3rd Infantry, Wisconsin State Guard, in 1941, and to the memory of the valiant sons of Grant County who have borne arms in defense of their country so that the American way of life shall not perish from the Earth.
