The Big Oak in Thomasville, Georgia, is a live oak about 335 years old, with a spread of 160 feet, a height of 68 feet, and a trunk circumference of 27.5 feet. It is the property of the Thomasville Garden Club, Inc. and the City of Thomasville. In 1987, the Arborist Association and the International Society of Aboriculture jointly recognized this significant tree in the bicentennial year as having lived there at the time of the signing of the Constitution.
