Welle Hess Covered Bridge No. S1, also called the Laubach Covered Bridge, was a historic wooden covered bridge in Sugarloaf Township, Pennsylvania, carrying a road over Fishing Creek. Built in 1871, it was a 126-foot Burr Truss arch span with a tin roof, part of the well-known covered bridges of Columbia and Montour Counties and an example of a durable 19th-century American bridge form used for longer crossings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, but collapsed on July 19, 1981, and was removed from the register in 1986. Part of its wreckage was reused in a small replica built in Orange Township in 1983.
