The Mission of Las Cabreras was a ranch chapel near the ancient settlement of Las Islitas, now Graytown, that was visited regularly and maintained by the Franciscan missionaries of San Antonio. It was attended by the Canary Islanders, their descendants, Mexicans, Natives, and others living in this vicinity, and it was established in the middle-eighteenth century.
