The men and women of the Air Force Eastern Test Range dedicated a monument to national progress in missile and space technology in recognition of the American Revolution Bicentennial. It was erected on the site of support elements for early space development and contains memorabilia symbolic of the national effort that launched the United States into the space age. Its time capsule was preserved to be opened in 2075 for patriotic citizens observing the American Revolution Tricentennial in 2076.
