Chief Sem Yeto, christianized Francisco Solano, was chief of the Suisun Tribe, a sub-group of the Patwin Indians whose name meant "west winds." His village was located near Rockville, and he held sway over most of the tribes between Petaluma Creek and the Sacramento River. His burial site is in this vicinity.
