The USS Arizona Memorial is dedicated in reverent recognition of divine guidance and to the eternal memory of those who gave their last full measure of devotion to their country, humbly honoring their sacrifice in defending freedom. It was erected by the Navy Club of the United States of America, a naval veterans organization, on 7 December 1955.
