Cochituate State Park is a Massachusetts day-use park in Natick centered on Lake Cochituate’s North, Middle, and South lakes. Managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation, it is known for water-based recreation, including motor boating, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, picnicking, and swimming. Summer boat rentals support seasonal use, while different restrictions shape activity on each lake section. Beyond the shoreline, the Snake Brook Trail offers a scenic route for hiking and biking year-round. In spring, South Lake also serves high school sailing, hosting teams from Wellesley High School, Wayland High School, and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School from March through May.
