Curry Hammock State Park is a Florida state park in the middle Florida Keys on Crawl Key, extending along both sides of U.S. 1 at mile marker 56.2. As one of the protected coastal landscapes along the Overseas Highway, it preserves a low-lying island setting while also serving as a popular place for outdoor recreation. Visitors come for activities such as kayaking, fishing, beachgoing, and camping, including RV camping, with information available at the ranger station. With its tropical savanna climate, the park functions today as both a natural area and a recreational stop along one of Florida’s most distinctive island routes.
