Built in 1926, the St. Leonard Polling House served as the place where residents voted until 1974. The Garden of Remembrance honors all those held dear in the hearts of area residents, and it also honors First Ladies Mrs. John Quincy Adams and Mrs. Zachary Taylor, who were related by birth or family ties to St. Leonard.
