Captain Robert Bean was born in Virginia and was a captain in the Indian Wars, a companion of Daniel Boone, a Tennessee volunteer, a hero of King's Mountain, and an intrepid pioneer patriot. He was born on 3 May 1764 and died on 17 Nov 1824.
