Built in 1912 by Pomona Valley Telephone & Telegraph, the telephone exchange served 112 telephones in San Dimas, La Verne, Claremont and Chino. The original brick building was replaced in 1959 by the San Dimas Water Company, remodeled in 1971 to the Early California Village Theme by California Cities Water Company, and occupied by Golden State Water Company since 1976.
