Kruckeberg Botanic Garden in Shoreline, Washington, is a four-acre public garden founded in 1958 by University of Washington professor Arthur Rice Kruckeberg and his wife, Mareen Schultz Kruckeberg. Created as a private garden, it was later preserved through a foundation established in 1998 and a 2003 easement intended to protect the site permanently. Its plantings combine native species with non-native specimens, especially from China and Japan, and include a wide range of conifers, hardwoods, shrubs, and smaller woodland plants. Despite its modest size, the garden is notable for several rare specimens and four State Champion trees.
