Built in 1873 in the Victorian style, this house featured a large bay window, a solid walnut staircase, and three fireplaces; although it was remodeled, it retains its original floor plan. In 1890, Judge J. G. Cook, a noted lawyer, bought the house, and it remained in the Cook family for several generations.
