George and Philena Little built this house, and several generations of the Little family lived there. The first meeting of Colombia Masonic Lodge in Miamitown was held in the house on December 27, 1830. It then became the lodge’s regular meeting place between August 22, 1836 and October 9, 1837. The house also served as a residence for the Schardine, Wentzel, Douglas, and Henderson families.
