Jonathan Jennings served as Indiana Territorial Delegate to Congress from 1809 to 1816, presided as President of the Indiana Constitutional Convention in June 1816, became Indiana's first Governor from 1816 to 1822, and later served as a Member of Congress from 1822 to 1830.
