McClellan National Forest was a brief federal forest in Alabama, established by the U.S. Forest Service on December 22, 1924, from 15,350 acres of the Camp McClellan Military Reservation. Its importance lies in its short and unusual history: after existing only a few years, the executive order that created it was rescinded on May 4, 1928, and the forest was abolished.
