Henline Falls
Nature
Henline Falls is a waterfall in Oregon’s Opal Creek Wilderness, fed by Henline Creek and dropping 126 feet over a span of about 50 feet. Its name comes from nearby Henline Mountain. The site also reflects a local mining past: a silver mine once operated near the falls, giving rise to the alternate name Silver King Falls. As a natural feature linked both to the surrounding landscape and to earlier mining activity, the falls connect the area’s geography with a small but telling piece of regional history.
