Glen Canyon Covered Bridge near Santa Cruz, California, originally carried Glen Canyon Road over Branciforte Creek. Built in 1892 by G.H. McKay, it was an 83-foot single-span Howe truss with a shake roof, vertical siding, and construction in native fir and redwood. Also known as the Delaveaga Covered Bridge, it was later moved into Delaveaga Park when volunteers relocated it about half a mile in 1939 to save it from demolition. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, but it has since been demolished.
