Nature
Utah Lake State Park in Provo sits on the east shore of Utah Lake beside the Provo Municipal Airport, providing direct access to the state’s largest freshwater lake. It serves as a practical base for boating, fishing, day use, and overnight camping. The Lakeshore Campground operates from April 1 to October 31 and includes 31 sites for tents and RVs, with stays of up to 14 days. Campsites provide running water, 30-amp electricity, fire pits, barbecue grills, picnic tables, and awnings. Shared restrooms, shower stalls, dumpsters, and both back-in and pull-through parking support campers, while several features, including the north jetty fishing pier, are wheelchair accessible.
