Skew Bridge

Regarded as the best example of a skew bridge in the U.S., this bridge was designed by Richard Osborn for the P and R Railroad in 1857. Each course of its forty-foot arch is laid in an ellipsoidal curve, with each stone properly curved, and there is no keystone.
