Pomeroy State Park in Lebanon, Connecticut, is an undeveloped state park of about 200 acres of forest and preserved open land south of Willimantic. Named for textile manufacturer Charles Pomeroy, it grew from his former 90-acre estate, appearing at 84 acres in 1953, reaching 104 acres by 1963, and later expanding through purchases in 2001 and 2007. Connecticut Route 289 divides the notably hilly property, which includes the 505-foot summit of Bush Hill south of Hosmer Mountain. With no formal entrance, marked trails, or dedicated parking, the park is used mainly for informal hiking and seasonal archery hunting for deer and turkey.
