Lea County honors those who died serving their country in wartime, naming local dead from World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and America’s fight against terrorism and tyranny in Iraq and Afghanistan, under Abraham Lincoln’s resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain.
