Ilasco was home to a succession of churches that served its community across much of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries: Marble Creek Methodist Church South from 1883 to 1929, Salvation Army Mission Church from 1903 to 1906, Baptist Mission Church from 1906 to 1910, Holiness Mission Church from 1910 to 1926, Dr. Martin Luther Slovak Lutheran Church from 1911 to 1971, Holy Cross Catholic Church from 1915 to 1996, St. Peters Ukrainian Orthodox Church from 1919 to 1924, Church of the Nazarene from 1925 to 1967, and Ilasco Methodist Church from 1927 onward.
