The old Cattle Barn was built in 1920 as a WPA building. Its south end had a stage and display area, the upper level was used for dorms, the north upper level housed poultry, and after 1978 the building was used for 4-H livestock entries. The Agribition Building was built in 1978 through donations from the Livestock Breeders Association and supporters of the agricultural community, and it housed Open Class dairy, an indoor show arena, an area for concessions, milking, and a wash rack. A new Cattle Barn at the Century Avenue site measures 150 by 100 feet and houses Open Class and 4-H dairy, with an enlarged 36 by 70 foot wash rack and milking area and a 36 by 30 foot country diner with a full service food area.
