The Birmingham Veterans Memorial honors Joseph Parker of Company G, 9th Regiment Iowa Infantry, who died in the Battle of Pea Ridge, and William H. Parker of Company G, 9th Regiment Iowa Infantry, who died at Pacific City, Missouri. It was dedicated on Memorial Day, May 27, 2019.
