Rickus Hill is a summit in St. Francois County, Missouri, about three miles southeast of Farmington. Rising to 1,079 feet, it stands beside Wolf Creek, which flows along the hill’s north side before joining the St. Francis River east of the peak. The hill was named for Frederick Rickus, the site’s original owner. Although little more is recorded about its history, its location reflects the low uplands and stream valleys that characterize southeastern Missouri.
