Helena Kimmet was the wife of George Kimmet, a farmer, emigrant, and pioneer. Born on Jan. 25, 1808, in Germany, she moved to America in Dec. 1839 and raised 10 children in Ohio. She died in Ohio on Dec. 16, 1861, and was the mother and grandmother of Kimmet families in America.
