Settlers Cabin Park is a 1,610-acre county park west of Pittsburgh in Allegheny County, spanning Collier, North Fayette, and Robinson townships as part of the county’s regional park system. Its name comes from the Walker-Ewing-Glass Log House, a late 18th-century building within the park that connects it to the area’s early settlement history; archaeological work there was conducted by Jacob Grimm of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. The park today combines that historic link with extensive recreation, including trails, courts, playgrounds, a dog park, picnic groves, a wave pool, and diving platform. Land tied to the park is also leased to Pittsburgh Botanic Garden.
