Military
Tudor Hall, formerly Americus Felix Secundus, was built by Abraham Barnes in 1750 and extensively enlarged by Philip Key in 1796. In 1950, Mary Patterson Davidson gave it as a free public library dedicated to all citizens of St. Mary's County and in memory of those who gave their lives for their country in World War I and World War II.
