Cedarville Cemetery, in the immediate area later called Rockland and then Belpre, contains the graves of 14 Revolutionary War soldiers. Some graves washed over the Ohio River bank when the river level rose and left graves underwater. The property is maintained by the Belpre Township Trustees, and beginning in the early 2000s the Rotary Club of Belpre restored the property and remarked the graves.
