Payton Ayerston “P.A.” Brunson was born on July 17, 1896, and died on May 31, 1964. A graduate of Emory University Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, he organized Florida National Bank of Starke in the late 1930s and served as a Baker County physician from the 1920s through the 1940s.
