Gerber Hill Park
Nature
Frank and Elizabeth Gerber bought this 19 acre parcel in 1935 for $450.00. For many years they made it available to youth groups and neighborhood children for recreation and winter sledding, and the area became known as Gerber Hill. In 1988, the Gerbers donated the area to Lenawee County. Development was funded by the county and a major grant from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund. The park was dedicated by the Lenawee County Parks Commission in 1992.
