James C. ("Jim") Martinelli (1928 - 1997) devoted his public service career to Vienna as the architect of its first community center, as mayor, council member, planning commissioner, and member of the Board of Zoning Appeals and Architectural Review Board, and above all was a loving husband and father and a compassionate human being.
