For many years, this schoolhouse bell called students to class in the one-room schoolhouse located a short distance west of the present location. The Rev. George Laubach purchased it when the school closed around 1949 and moved it to his residence on Bethman Rd., Easton, intending that it return to this church. The family of Dr. George Laubach gave the bell, and Greg Edelman constructed the structure that houses it from a design given by the Rev. John Dech and his wife Kathy in memory of his parents, Paul and Lillian Dech. The bell and structure were dedicated on November 1, 2015.
