The Veterans Memorial Park at Niagara County Community College was established on April 28, 1976, and the original park was unveiled to the community in celebration of the Bicentennial anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. In 2023, as part of Niagara County Community College's ongoing commitment to Veteran Services, the park underwent a transformation as the standalone monument was relocated and expanded. At SUNY Niagara, formally known as Niagara County Community College, this living memorial honors and remembers the history of individuals who served, celebrates Niagara County's armed forces, pays homage to the past, and embraces the future.
