Adams Peak is the highest summit in the Diamond Mountains, a northern California range within the Sierra Nevada, standing on the border of Plumas and Lassen counties. Its granitic summit rises 8,199 feet, or 2,499 metres, and is notable both as the top point of the Diamond Mountains and for its exposed granite character. In 2021, the peak burned during the Beckwourth Complex fires, linking it to one of the major recent wildfire events in this part of the Sierra Nevada.
