The Boy Scouts of America dedicated this replica of the Statue of Liberty during their 40th Anniversary Crusade to strengthen the arm of liberty, pledging everlasting fidelity and loyalty with the faith and courage of their forefathers who made possible the freedom of these United States. It was later relocated from Hillsboro City Park on July 4, 1985 by American Legion Post 366.
