Manido Falls is the smallest named waterfall on Michigan’s Presque Isle River in Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. It drops about 15 feet and sits between Nawadaha Falls upstream and Manabezho Falls downstream. The width of its crest changes noticeably with the river’s flow, ranging from roughly 50 to 150 feet across. Its name comes from an Ojibwe word meaning “spirit” or “ghost.” Because it is easy to reach by trail, it is one of the more accessible places in the park to view the river.
