This memorial is dedicated to the men and women of the community who served their country in time of war and in memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice. It honors local service in World War II through a long roll of names, marks some of the fallen, and extends that honor to all who served in Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm, as well as to all nurses who served in the military. It also expresses the hope that the liberty of humanity, won by brave souls and guarded vigilantly, will live on with increased strength and spirit for all ages to come.
