Deep Creek North Wilderness
Nature
Deep Creek North Wilderness is a protected wilderness area in Utah encompassing 4,262 acres. Established on March 30, 2009, through the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, it forms part of a broader effort to preserve Deep Creek and its surrounding landscape. Together with the Deep Creek Wilderness to the south, it helps protect much of Deep Creek, a tributary of the Wild and Scenic Virgin River, as well as 7,546 acres of nearby land. Its significance lies in safeguarding both the waterway and a substantial stretch of adjacent natural terrain.
