Red Hill is a mountain in Merced County, California, on the eastern slope of the Diablo Range. Rising to 2,326 feet, or 709 meters, its summit is part of a longer ridge rather than a distinct isolated peak. The ridge’s high point lies between two mapped coordinate points. Red Mountain Road, once called the Cottonwood Grade, crosses the ridge at this location and connects Fifield Road on the divide of the Diablo Range with McCabe Road on Romero Creek.
