David Littell House
History
The David Littell House was built in 1851 on a 1796 land grant called Chestnut Flats and was the fourth house on this site. A tannery operated here from 1819 to 1860, and the Littells were among the first settlers in the area. The house is a significant example of 19th century architecture and was named to the National Historic Register in 1986.
