In Danbury, two massive flagpoles once stood in front of the state prison. They were sold to the Stokes County Historical Society and now stand here as a structure designed and created by Trevor Gordon of Boy Scout Troop 408 for his Eagle Scout project. The flagpoles are dedicated to the county and to the historical foundation on which it was built.
