Deer Falls is the uppermost and largest waterfall on the North Fork Skykomish River, dropping 90 feet in a single plunge into a deep blue pool within a short, dramatic canyon above Goblin Creek. It is considered the second largest waterfall on either fork of the Skykomish and is often regarded as the finest on the two branches. Despite its location near a major road, it is not easily reached. Seeing it requires descending roughly 100 to 150 feet from the road to the canyon edge, where the falls appear far below in the river gorge.
