Murrill Hill is a summit in St. Francois County, Missouri, rising to 797 feet within a horseshoe bend of the Big River about three-quarters of a mile west of Desloge. Its name comes from Tom Murrill, the site’s original owner. The hill is significant as a named local landmark tied both to the area’s natural landscape and to an early landowner whose name became attached to the place.
