Constructed in 1913 by Claude Shannon, Sr. using field stones from area farms, this building originally served as the Gaylord Post Office until 1954. Its second floor housed the insurance and real estate office of J. P. Hamilton. Later, for many years, it was the home of Glasser Real Estate. More recent occupants have included Diana's Emporium and D&S Custom Art Work, and SunFrog Shirts opened its retail store here in 2016.
