History
1
This prairie village began in 1895 with the opening of the Sundown-Willow Lake creamery, which became the largest in the county with 173 patrons. The village included a post office, two stores, a photo shop, a smithy, and a few homes, with a population of 25. In 1905 the post office closed to rural delivery. The creamery closed in 1914, and the town ceased to exist.
