The Alice T. Miner Museum in Chazy, New York, is a Colonial Revival museum and historic house created by Alice T. Miner and opened in 1924. Also known as the Alice T. Miner Colonial Collection, it fills 15 rooms with early American material culture, including period and miniature furniture, china, porcelain, glass, textiles, dolls, and objects linked to the Revolutionary War and War of 1812. Shaped by a collector’s vision, the museum also reflects the early twentieth-century enthusiasm for America’s colonial past and efforts to preserve it through domestic interiors and decorative arts. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
